REALity Co-Parenting

PARENT'S PRAYER FOR THEIR CHILDREN Pray... - Catholic and Proud ...

Co-parenting occurs following a separation, divorce, or break up of a romantic partnership in which children are involved.

As parents, it is our role and obligation to help our children deal with the fact that mom and dad are no longer living together.

A Family is not in trouble because parents divorce.

A family is in trouble when the threats of legal action is the motivation to do what is right for the family.

Children ought to be at the Centre of the love you share for them, not in the Middle of your conflicts.

While the Law attempts to have people’s rights respected, it is ultimately the parents’ responsibility to raise, care for and love their children.

Remember that your divorce/separation is ending your relationship with your spouse/partner, not with your children.

Creating conflicts over the children is robbing them of their childhood, and they only have one childhood.

Your roles and responsibilities as parents should not be damaged by your life decision.

Divorce/separation does not end parent involvement. If anything, it is all about the children now.

The Law doesn’t raise children, parents do!
